Used exclusively for aluminum vacuum molds which typically ran from 24 hours up to over 100 hours per mold.
Very little load on the machine since the finishing tool most used was a 3/64ths ball end mill.
An extensive warm up program was also used at each power up of the machine prior to running molds.
Standard warm up ran the spindle through speeds from 100 rpm to 18000 rpm in 30 minutes. This machine was never used for heavy "HOG OUT" machining.
