Innovative Peening Turntable Suction Peening System

Enclosure:
The cabinet is a variable speed 32 inch turntable design. The cabinet
enclosure is especially ventilated and designed for enclosed peening.
All joints are fully welded to prevent media/dust leakage during operation
The enclosure is equipped with an operator access doors for ease of gun
positions. The drive mechanisms for the turntable are located outside the
blast enclosure for protection from abrasive wear. The table will be
powered by a variable speed motor and gear reducing drive.
Fabrication Material:
1/2 inch steel plate will be fully welded together on all walls and
ceiling. 1/4" steel plate will be fully welded to produce the angled
hopper to recover and feed the media to the recovery duct.
The inside of the enclosure will have a removable rubber abrasive
resistant sound abating liner. The fabrication and materials will be
constructed in a manner to provide low sound qualities.
Doors:
(1) 1/2 inch Blanchard ground to flat hinged access doors in the rear of
of nozzle positioning on the part. One viewing window will be provided.
Size:
The enclosure size will be approximately 54" x 54" x 80"
Rotating Table:
The machine will be equipped with a 32 in diameter table powered by a
variable speed table drive.
Part Rotation Drive:
The part rational will have variable speed motor and a 60: 1
ratio gear box (0-45 rpm). The rotation speed will be adjustable at the
operator's station. The drive will be mounted under the enclosure outside
the blast area in the center of the machine.
Material Handling Integration: Manual load by operator
Media Delivery System: Six nozzle suction feed.
Continuous suction media delivery: A gravity feed media delivery system
will consist of six venturi blast guns with orifice and nozzles, metering
